MSc Geology (University of Auckland)

My background was originally in engineering maintenance and later worked for the Waikato Regional Council in hydrogeology. I have worked for the past 12 years at this University in mostly field-based research and teaching support for geomorphology and hydrodynamics in coastal and fluvial settings. I have supported programs in water quality, climatology and a variety of other environmental science and geography disciplines in a technical and logistical capacity.

Active surf lifeguard and patrol captain.

• Currently the Technical Manager for the School, responsible for the management and allocation of resources (technical staff, facilities, and equipment)
• Purchasing for technical resources
• Asset Manager for the School
• Health & Safety Officer for the School and Transitional Facility Operator
